I am a coder, creative problem solver, maker, entrepreneur, designer, critical thinker, and storyteller based in Portland, OR.

I have worked with outdoor brands from North Face to REI. I’ve been told my positive attitude is contagious and my ability to manage creatives brings teams together to execute the artistic vision.

Theater: Trained as a Professional Stage Manager, I kept everyone on the same page, literally and figuratively, by organizing schedules, managing paperwork, and team leading.

Film: I took those talents to the big screen at LAIKA, on the movie Kubo and the two strings, as a puppet wrangler. I managed 108 puppets on 60 stages for 30 animators with 12+ direct supervisors. Every day was a marathon of juggling the priorities and capabilities of the artists and puppets.

Photography: I moved to the smaller screen into high-volume e-commerce photography at Sandbox Studio as a Merchandise Coordinator and then Assistant Producer. I managed the team of the largest accounts in the studio. Balancing the moving parts, keeping the project going, and pointing it in the right direction.

Shop: I like to stay busy so much that I have my own business making leather bags: brooksong design
